Dianna Tornow, owner and operator of Dianna Tornow Cakes,
has been retail licensed for more than a decade. As a Master Cake Decorator, she has also taught sugar art
at Johnson and Wales Culinary Institute of Charleston, International Cake Exploration Societe’
conventions, numerous South Carolina and Georgia cake clubs, and as an independent and Michael’s
Wilton teacher. She enjoys taking sugar art classes annually from such premier sugar artists as
Colette Peters, Nicholas Lodge, Betty Van Nordstrom, and Norm Davis. Dianna is a member of the
International Cake Exploration Societe’, the Southeastern Retail Bakers Association, and the
Retail Bakers of America. Her cakes have appeared in several food publications, such as,
“Mailbox News”, “American Cake Decorating”, and “International Cake Exploration Societe’”.
She has always believed that every customer deserves a cake that is both beautiful and delicious,
and thus, she continues her cake decorating education.
